One of my specialities and favourite jobs is the refurbishment of old furniture that is still usable but a little out of date and has small defects. Weighing up what needs to be renewed and what just needs a new "coat of paint" is the essence of my approach. Also to stay within the price range, because unfortunately it is often cheaper to buy a similar mass-produced product than to upgrade an old piece of furniture.
